The Xuron WickgunTM desoldering braid dispenser provides a convenient "all in one" hand tool for desoldering. Rotate the thumb wheel on top of the gun to advance or retract as much braid as required. Place the braid on top of the solder to be removed and the hot soldering iron on top of the braid. The solder is absorbed up into the braid. Squeeze the trigger to cut off the used braid. The WickgunTM comes with a replaceable cassette, factory loaded with 15 feet of rosin flux coated, pure copper braid, 0.060" wide. The cassettes can be switched if your project requires several wick sizes.
